Digital Street – nowa jakość w obrocie nieruchomościami i prowadzeniu ksiąg wieczystych w Anglii i Walii

HM Land Registry wprowadza w Anglii i Walii przełomowy projekt Digital Street. Projekt został ogłoszony w HM Land Registry Business Strategy 2017-2022. Planowane jest wprowadzenie nowych technologii w procesie obrotu nieruchomościami i rejestracji. Celem projektu jest wykorzystanie sztucznej inteligencji do uproszczenia oraz zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa w obrocie nieruchomościami. Technologia blockchain ma zapewnić pewność w obrocie nieruchomościami poprzez stworzenie kryptograficznych procedur wspomagających. Są już pierwsze efekty tego projektu. Pierwsza hipoteka została ustanowiona w formie elektronicznej (na odległość) i zarejestrowana w kwietniu 2018 roku. Do chwili obecnej powstało już ok 10 000 tysięcy takich hipotek. Pierwsza umowa przenosząca własność nieruchomości została zawarta w formie elektronicznej (na odległość) w lipcu 2020 roku.
