Abstract

The principle of equal opportunities should be respected in the conduct of regional policy. The aim of the article is to present the principle of equal opportunities from the perspective of regional policy. The paper indicates the essence of regional policy and the importance of the principle of equal opportunities, and also analyzed selected theoretical and practical aspects of regional policy in the context of the principle of equal opportunities. The final part of the article contains the main conclusions.
